I recently returned from a trip to Negril, Jamaica. It is absolutely one of my most favorite destinations to relax and unwind. My most recent adventures have taken me to Jamaica, one of my favorite places in the entire world. I spent a week touring the area of Ocho Rios where we climbed Dunns River Falls and took a spectacular ride in an open air jeep through the country side to the Home and museum of Bob Marley, the famous Reggae singer. I especially enjoyed traveling through Fern Alley in the rain forest and visiting a coffee plantation and a medicinal farm, where herbal medications are grown.

In August I sailed on the Holland America, Zuiderdam, with my 14-year-old son, as part of a yearlong training program that I have been involved with for the cruise line. It was one of the most enjoyable experiences I have had in a long time. The service, dining and entertainment were wonderful.

Presently I live in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. Since I have lived here for over 8 years I have extensive knowledge of the country of Mexico. I have been fortunate to learn the local "secrets". Discovering caves for diving & the best reefs for snorkeling adventures, finding the best golf courses, Spa and Yoga Retreats, finding hidden virgin beaches, learning the best places to eat authentic Mexican food that is not toned down for the "tourist", exploring the back roads happening up authentic Mayan villages, hiking thru the jungle & searching for Mayan Ruins is just a normal day for me!

Not only do I know all the local HOT SPOTS for fun and entertainment, I can point you in the right direction to find the most intimate, quaint, local spots away from all the crowds as well. One of my favorite hobbies is learning the art of authentic Mexican cooking and Salsa making. Other areas that I have traveled to in Mexico are Cancun, Puerto Moralos, Isla Mujeres, the Island of Holbox, The Island of Cozumel, Akumal, Puerto Adventurous, Chetumal, Bacula, Valladolid , Merida,  Punta Allen, Costa Maya, Majuhal, Guanajuato, San Miguel De Allende, Dolores Hidalgo, Guadalajara, Cuernavaca, Acapulco, Nuevo Laredo, Tijuana, Taxco, (the silver capitol of the world) and Mexico City, Vera Cruz,  the Ancient Mayan Ruins of Tulum, Chichen Itza & Coba.

I have traveled by train thru Europe, including Holland, Belgium, France, & Italy and an extensive tour of Ireland.  I’ve visited Bermuda several times.  In Canada I have traveled to Montreal and Quebec, Vancouver and Victoria. 

Cruising is one of my specialties. I have sailed on Holland America, Royal Caribbean, Princess & Celebrity Lines. I have had the luxury of sailing to most all of the major ports of calls in the Caribbean as well as embarking in the Ports of Miami, Los Angeles and Vancouver, BC. While in Vancouver, I traveled by ferry to the beautiful Island of Victoria and went to the famous Butchart Gardens and the Empress Hotel for High Tea. While studying to be a Certified Cruise Specialist I went on numerous ship inspections of all the major cruise lines and one of the highlights was a personal invitation to inspect the world famous QE2 when she visited Portland, Maine

In the United States I have traveled to Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, Tampa, Orlando, Disneyworld, St. Petersburg, Clearwater Beach, Marco Island, Sanibel Island, The Everglades, Florida. San Diego, Los Angeles, Malibu, Santa Monica, Manhattan Beach, Marina Del Ray, Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Anaheim, Disneyland, Universal Studios, Palm Springs, Santa Barbara, San Francisco, California's Wine Country, Las Vegas, New York City, Washington, DC, Richmond, Atlanta, Niagara Falls, New York, Houston, Galveston Island, New Orleans, The Grand Canyon, Sedona, Scottsdale, Phoenix, Tucson, Honolulu, Pearl Harbor, Waikiki Beach, Maui, Hawaii and Canada.

My last trip was to Central America where I visited the country of Belize. In Belize I went to the Islands of Ambergris Caye, Caye Caulker and the town of Corozal.  My goal is to build an itinerary that helps your dream vacation become a reality by incorporating my travel education with my personal travel experiences.
